In the diary of Anne frank the theme courage shows a lot in the story. One time it showed courage was when Mr frank went out of the hiding spot to see who broke into the store. “ Mrs frank softly praying. Mr frank- “it was a thief. That noise must have scared him away” (408).
Another scene where they show courage in the play is when Mrs Frank is praying. “(Softly praying) I lift up mine eyes unto the mountains, from whence cometh my help…” (408). That is how the theme courage is showed in the story.
The character I pick is Peter and the object that I pick for him is his cat. His cat represents him because it is in hiding just like he is. It also represents him because the cat is play full and so is Peter at the end of the play. The cat is also loving just like Peter is with Anne. That is how peters cat symbolizes Peter in a way.
