North Pointe News

November 26, 2017

I hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday! We have certainly had our fill of leftovers! I want you to know that I am so very thankful for the students, parents, and staff that make North Pointe Elementary the best school in the district! Working with you and for you is one of the greatest joys of my life.

Christmas Tree Ornaments

An annual North Pointe tradition is collecting Christmas tree ornaments for our school's Christmas trees! If you are a new student to North Pointe this year, please send in an ornament with your child to place on our lobby tree!

Thanks to our PTO board for putting up two beautiful trees in our school last week!

Letter of Thanks

Below is a letter I received from our Red Cross volunteer, Kathy Trammell. I wanted to share it with everyone.

Dear Mrs. Gilreath,

North Pointe's students, parents, faculty and staff are awesome! As a member of the Upstate Chapter of the American Red Cross, I want to extend my sincere gratitude for your contributions to the people who are affected by disasters in our area. The bath linens and deodorant are much-needed items during times of disasters, and your generous gifts will have a major impact on helping the victims of these disasters. Your contributions enabled us to fully stock all of our Upstate American Red Cross disaster vehicles! We at the American Red Cross are amazed by the loving and selfless outpouring of your generosity, and we thank you for helping us to make a positive difference! Your support encourages our continued commitment to reaching our goals of giving aid to disaster victims.

Again, thank you for your support, and GO PANTHERS!

Kathy Trammell, volunteer
