Talking to your kids about COVID-19
Know! To Reassure and Support Children During the COVID-19 Crisis
The World Health Organization has declared COVID-19, also known as coronavirus, a pandemic. Whether or not you believe the response to COVID-19 is proportionate, there is no doubt that children are being directly touched. Their schools are closing, their academic and extracurricular activities are being canceled, their spring break family trips are being postponed, and restrictions are being placed on mass gatherings. They’re also seeing and hearing the vast concerns of some and outright panic of others as local and national leaders attempt to control the spread of the virus.
Everyone is talking about coronavirus. The question is, are you talking about it with your children? Read more here

Impact on Spring Sports and End of Year Athletic Banquet
The OHSAA has made the decision to cancel spring sports for this year. As of today, all sports are in a “quiet period” until May 3, which means coaches and teams are not allowed to have any type of practice or workout, on campus or off. They anticipate extending this time frame once they have had time to meet and make decisions moving forward. Right now they are working on policies for fall sports.
This has been very difficult for our coaches and athletes. We are so disappointed that our athletes did not have the opportunity to compete in the sports that they have worked so hard to prepare for. This is especially true for our senior athletes. If you know any of these young adults, please acknowledge their hard work.
On May 14 at 7:00 PM we will be holding our Annual Athletic Banquet. This year the Athletic Banquet will need to be held virtually. We will post links on the Athletic Web Page. This is our chance to recognize our athletes for their accomplishments, even though we cannot meet in person. Log in and enjoy the evening while recognizing our athletes.
Student Breakfast/Lunch Distribution - Starting 3-24-20
"Change to Student Breakfast/Lunch Pick Up Times!!"
In order to lessen the exposure of our workers and lower the amount of times people have to leave their house, we are changing our student breakfast/lunch delivery times. We will now only deliver student breakfast/lunch meals that cover a whole week on Wednesdays. Breakfast and lunches will be available for all students 18 yrs of age or younger. We will need to keep track of student names during this process. The following areas will have pick up service at the following times:
Clarksville United Methodist Church-10:15 am until 10:45 am
Massie Township School/Town Hall- 10:15 am until 10:45 am
Middle School Entrance Drive-up Service- 11:30-12:30
Green Meadows- 1:00-1:15
Nauvoo Rd by the water tower- 1:30pm until 2:00pm
*times are approximate and dependent on workers available for preparation.
We will be guessing on how many meals that will need distributed the first time. We would ask for a little patience and grace as we work out the details. If there is a need present that we can help with please contact 937-303-8069 or email cmsafeplace@gmail.com. We will do our best to help!
Please check on each other through phone calls, text messages, Facetime, etc. Hearing a friendly voice in this time of isolation can go a long way!! Stay safe and as always.... GOOOO Falcons!!!
