Meet Stephanie Theis - New AP!
Stephanie Theis will join PCHS as an assistant principal. She joined Platte County School District in 2015, and is currently a math teacher at Barry School. Prior to joining PCR-3, she taught middle school math and served as a Before and After School Administrator in the North Kansas City School District. Stephanie graduated with a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. She received her master's degree from Mid-America Nazarene University and her Education Specialist degree from William Woods, and will achieve her doctorate in administration from William Woods in the near future. Stephanie and her husband, Tim, live in the Platte City, along with their son, Marcus. Stephanie's two oldest sons are Pirates who graduated from PCHS in 2012 and 2015. She enjoys walking, reading, going on day trips with her family, and most of all cheering on her children in all their passions. She is committed to putting students first and helping them in developing their own passions. She shares, "It is truly a gift to serve alongside the staff of PCHS to help our students be their best and to cheer them on in all their endeavors."
AP Testing
- May 14 - 8 am: Biology, Pax 25
- May 15 - 8 am: Calculus AB & BC, Pax 25
- May 16 - 8 am: English Language & Composition, Multi-Purpose Rm.
- May 17 - 8 am: World History (MPR); 12 pm: Statistics, Pax 25
- May 18 - 12 pm: European History, Pax 25
EOC Schedule
- May 15 & 16 - ALG 1
Also, CHEM II is Testing in Large Group 1, May 15 & 16
Breakfast Times & Locations During Testing
Breakfast has been arranged for the following test groups prior to testing:
- Algebra 1- North café 7:15-7:30 on May 15 & 16
**BREAKFAST WILL BE SERVED AT THE REGULAR TIME/LOCATIONS for the NON-TESTING STUDENTS.
Chromebook Check In - Underclassmen
Chromebook check-in for grades 9-11 is May 17 & 18
- If students have damaged Chromebooks, we will turn in insurance claims on those
- Students must turn in Chromebook, charger, and case (with reasonable wear); items not returned will be charged to obligations
Graduation
MAKE SURE YOUR REGALIA IS READY TO GO!
May 18th Senior Breakfast and Graduation Rehearsal
May 20th Graduation- 2 pm at KCI Expo All staff should arrive by 1:30.
Staff staging area will be in the room on the left in the vestibule of KCI Expo
