Tustumena Elementary Newsletter

February 4, 2019

It's a short week!

Between the delayed start Monday, early release on Wednesday and no school for students on Thursday and Friday, it's a very short week here for students! Even in this short week, there's still lots of learning going on.

Next Friday, February 15th, is the 6th Grade fundraiser Mighty Meatball Dinner. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from our 6th graders.

Also, the Tustumena PTO is requesting candy donations for the Community Easter Egg Hunt later this spring. If you have any small, individually wrapped candy to donate, you may bring it to the front office. Thank you.

The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District requests input from staff, parents, and community members at the districtwide KPBSD budget development meeting, scheduled at the following locations:

  • Tuesday, February 19, 2019 @ 6:00 pm in the Homer High School Library
  • Wednesday, February 20, 2019 @ 6:00 pm in the Soldotna High School Library
  • Thursday, February 21, 2019 @ 6:00 pm in the Kenai Central High School Library
  • Tuesday, February 26, 2019 @ 6:00 pm in the Seward High School Library

As new budget information becomes available, it will be posted here: http://www.kpbsd.k12.ak.us/departments.aspx?id=38. If you have questions, please call Natalie Bates at 714-8888.
