Laptop Backup
For Parents & Students
On December 12th, students at East Mooresville Intermediate School will be swapping in their current machines for new ones. This is very exciting!
Since there will be no migration of content from the old machine to the new machine, students will need to back up the files they want to save so they aren't lost.
For Files Related to School
Option #1: Flash Drive/External Hard Drive
Students can use a flash drive/external hard drive. Simply plug the device into their machine and drag/drop the files onto the device.
The files could easily be added back to their new machine as well.
Flash Drives and External Hard Drives can be purchased from Wal-Mart, Target, Amazon, etc.

Option #2: The Cloud (Google Drive)
Students can log into their school google account, create a folder in their Google Drive, and drag/drop their files from their laptops right into the folder.
OR
They can create a folder on the desktop of their computer, drag all of their documents into it, and upload the entire folder into Google Drive.
Either of these options would ensure their files and safe and sound in the Cloud!
