Everyone knows about Neil Armstrong, but not many know of his co-piolt Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin. He did some very good things in his life, from college, to space, to life. Enjoy!
Personal Life
Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin was born in Montclair, New Jersey on January 20, 1930. As an adult since everyone called him Buzz he legally changed his name to Buzz Aldrin. He's married to Lois Driggs Cannon Of Phoenix. Buzz also has 2 sons, and 1 daughter. And yes, Buzz is still alive.
Schooling
Buzz Aldrin graduated from US Military Academy in 1951, and became a Air Force Officer. He graduated 3rd in his whole class. After becoming a Air Force Officer he flew 66 combat missions in the Korean War. A few years later, 1963 he received a Doctor Degree in astronautics, then became a astronaut later that year.

Everyone knows of Neil Armstrong taking the first step on the moon, but not many people know of the person with him. Buzz Aldrin was the second person to take a step on the moon, 19 minutes after Armstrong. Buzz Aldrin was the co-pilot to Neil Armstrong. Buzz orbited the moon with Michael Collins. He has logged 289 hours and 53 minutes in space. Buzz is the president of Star Craft Enterprise, Laguna Beach, California. Overall, Buzz Aldrin has had a pretty successful life.
