Principal's Message

It was so amazing to welcome our students back to the building last week, after spending a week fully remote. As an educator, nothing gets you more excited to come to work, than spending face-to-face time with our students!

25 members of our staff completed CPR recertification during our 1/25-21 Professional Development Day, and everyone worked on continuing to refine our competency alignment, K-8, in the areas of Math, English/Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies! We had a busy day here in the building!

We have many items linked to this week's newsletter, including information from our Chichester School Board, Pembroke Academy, our CCS Cafeteria, and also our CCS Health Office, and I encourage you to check out all of it.

Have a wonderful week!

Jessica Snider, CCS Principal

Update from the CCS Health Office

January 25, 2021

With Valentine's Day approaching, I wanted to let everyone know about the protocols and guidelines that we will be following here at CCS:

- Same cohorts/class, following distancing/mask guidelines.

- Individually wrapped foods- no homemade foods, no finger foods, no shared utensils.

- No cards/candy exchange.

- Please continue to follow usual guidelines with all indoor/outdoor activities.

Please remember to continue to call the main office or myself, even on remote days, if your child is not feeling well (even mild symptoms), the reason why your child will be absent from school, if there are any suspected or known COVID-19 contacts or if you travel outside of New England.

Continued communication and following these guidelines is essential so that we can help keep our school and community stay healthy during this time.

As we are in the winter months, please remember to send in the appropriate winter clothing with your child as they will continue to go outside.

Please feel free to call/email me anytime.

Thank you,

Julie Strazzeri

Meals to-go from the CCS Cafeteria

We are offering both breakfast and lunch meals to-go for all of our students on their remote days. Pick up will be behind the school for anyone interested.

Please let Ravonne Eccleston know what students you will be picking up for by Friday 1:45 P.M. through email or by phone 798-5651.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

Jackets, Snow Pants, Gloves, Boots & Hats- Oh My!

Just a friendly reminder that due to current covid restrictions, we are currently not offering items for students to borrow for recess. If your child should need help with getting some winter clothing items, please contact either Mrs. Carrier or Mrs. Stazzeri, and they can help you with this process. or
