Parents are encouraged to visit the book fair Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 6:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to shop with their class during the day on May 24th or 25th.

Early Dismissal – Teachers’ Professional Learning – Friday, May 26, 2023

Students will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m.

Kindergarten Rising Star Program – Friday, May 26, 2023 @ 9:30 a.m.

Doors for guests to enter Bungay to attend the show will open at 9:15 a.m.

Get Outside and Play – Friday, May 26, 2023

May 26th each year is Get outside and Play for Children’s Mental Health Day to raise awareness about children’s mental health and wellness.

The annual CLS Kindergarten Show for parents to attend will be Friday, May 26, beginning at 9:45 a.m. Doors for guests to enter CLS to attend the show will open at 9:30 a.m.

Luau Lunch – Friday, May 26, 2023

We will have a Luau Lunch on this early dismissal day! Children should bring a beach towel to sit upon as they will be eating their lunch outside!

Domenic DiPaola is our 2023 recipient of the David A. Brumer Excellence in Education Award. The David A. Brumer Excellence in Education Award is to be given to an individual devoted to making the Seymour Schools the best that they can be, an individual who assists in the education of the children of the Town of Seymour in an outstanding and exemplary manner and shares the ideals of David A. Brumer who valued community service and community participation in the Seymour Public Schools.

Paul O’Connor has been chosen as the recipient of the 2023 John J. Gallagher Memorial Athletic Award. The John J. Gallagher Memorial Athletic Award is to be given to an individual who has assisted in the support and development of athletics within the schools and the community at large.
