1/3 -No School- Teacher Work Day
This Happened Just before thanksgiving break. Meet Kraig the Turkey:
- Our Peer Leaders wanted to get something out to the students to begin making connections.
- Peer Leaders wanted to utilize the practice of gratitude in a mini campaign to connect with students and staff with the things they find strength in.
- They cut out feathers and invited everyone to write about something they find strength in.
- Then over the course of a day, our Peer Leaders put feathers to fill in the tail of our Support Turkey that they named Kraig (they/them).
- Kraig can now be seen in our lobby for all to read about the things that give our students and staff strength.

Computer Science Education Week
Adams 12 Hour of Code Virtual Event
We live in a world surrounded by technology. We know that whatever field our students choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly depend on understanding how technology works.
On December 8, from 3:30-5:00, we’re celebrating Computer Science Education Week with a district-wide, Hour of Code event! K-12 students and their families can have fun participating in computer science games and activities and learn more about computer science learning opportunities in Adams 12!
Prizes will be given to students that register and participate in the Hour of Code! (First 100 to register will earn double entry into the prize drawing!)
The school with the highest percentage of participating students will win a Sphero Bolt Class set, Map & Curriculum!
