WASD Leadership Model
WASD First Choice Pyramid
WASD Strategic Plan
"It is important that we approach STEM not just as a subject, but as a mindset."--Camsie McAdams, Director of STEM Education Discovery
Our Path Note Topic
First Choice is continuing in other ways. In a blend of academic and career, the PennSEL Network has built upon a larger strategy to strenthen STEM education by investing in and increasing access to STEM learning experiences for educators and students. In September 2019, the State Board of Education charged PDE with beginning the process of updating Pennsylvania's science, technology, environment, ecology, and engineering standards for the first time in approximately 20 years. The PennSEL Network will support and help prepare educators for any potential changes that may result.
This continues to fit the First Choice model well by connecting careers and academic (sciences) together. Please read more from PDE. https://www.media.pa.gov/pages/education-details.aspx?newsid=1159

This Week's Piece of the Puzzle is Wayne Kooser. Wayne, along with Eric Holtzman, came to the rescue of two senior citizens of the community. Wayne helped the senior couple by jumping the battery to restart their car.
Congratulations to Waynes Kooser for being this week's Piece of the Puzzle!
