A huge THANK YOU to the Harbor Springs Festival of The Book staff. Last Friday our students got to visit with authors and illustrators and every student received a copy of the authors book after their presentation.

4th grade competed in an Escape Room Challenge in honor of our visiting author Russell Ginns and his book Samantha Spinner and The Super Secret Plans.

Please call the Attendance Line (Blackbird) 231-526-4660 and (Shay) 231-526-4550 to report your student's absence. Include in your message your name, the best number to reach you, your student's name, grade, and the reason for the absence. If your student is absent because of illness, please describe the symptoms. If it is a doctor's confirmed case of strep, influenza or other infectious disease, please include that in your message. We are required by the state to report illness to our local health department.

Do you have a unique hobby or skill that you could teach others? Are you artistic and creative and have a product you'd like to donate? We are seeking donations for our silent and live auctions on November 9, 2019 at Nubs Nob (see attached flyer for more details). Creative ideas include cooking classes, fishing trips/guides, homemade crafts, mountain biking tours...the possibilities are endless.
