Webinar Beyond Your Blind Spot: Navigating Workplace Bias
12-1 p.m.
Online- Virtual Workshop
During this interactive session, participants will learn more about the meaning of implicit bias and ways that biases are formulated. Understanding implicit bias is important, as these views can alter our professional success by shaping our decisions, attitudes, and reactions. As we explore these issues, we will discuss ways that you can assess employer diversity and inclusion during the job search. We will also discuss ways to help cultivate a more inclusive work environment and strategies for actively (and appropriately) confronting the bias you encounter in others. The goal is for every participant to walk away with a broader understanding of how implicit bias influences ourselves and the world.
Hear from our guest speakers: Andrew Crain and Michelle Carter
