Staff of the Month - Gina Davis

Our Staff of the Month goes to Gina Davis. Gina wears many hats at Columbia High School. Gina is a mentor, a teacher, and our instructional coach. We are all so fortunate that she is a major part of our Columbia Family. She has poured her heart and soul in the students she is teaching and facilitating as well as the our CHS staff.

Every month our building advisory team chooses our Team and Staff of the Month. We are very proud to announce these winners to all of our students, families, and community members.


Our Team of the Month for December is our Columbia Family. Our teachers, support staff, and front office (glue crew) are very deserving of this award. The bizarre year of 2020 has forced everyone to engage students in learning unlike any other year. Our hearts go out to all of our children that have persevered to learn this way and we are so PROUD of our Columbia Family in adapting and changing their skills to reach and teach children in the best way they possibly can.

The Board of Trustees met Dec. 16 to consider next steps in athletic competition for NSD high school students. After considering input from athletes, parents of athletes, coaches, athletic directors, Southwest District Health and medical professionals, trustees voted to resume high school athletic competition, following Stage 2 protocols, effective immediately. The plan calls for no fans while we are in the Red category; games will be streamed.
