THANK YOU!
VG Families and Staff,
As I sit here and write this Juergens' Journal on a Friday afternoon of a four day weekend where we also get to celebrate Valentine's Day I reflect on the LOVE and SUPPORT I have had the pleasure to witness over the past days, weeks, and months.
I want to start off by saying THANK YOU! Thank you for your unwavering support as we navigate this pandemic TOGETHER! Thank you for supporting your children at home while we support them on a screen. Thank you for trusting us to educate their minds and spirits. Thank you to all our parent leaders in CPAP, Falcon Fund, and PTA and all of the monetary supports from our generous parents and community to enrich our students education. Thank you for choosing the declaration that worked for your family and communicating with us when you need support. Thank you for all the hard work our teachers and classroom paras have put in this year during online teaching and those who are returning to the classroom with half their class in the morning and half in the afternoon, with masks and lots of sanitation! Thank you to those teachers who are staying Remote and are supporting our kiddos on a screen. Thank you to our support staff who play HUGE roles behind the scenes. We all work together to make this an incredible place to work, learn and grown! Thank you for supporting me in my first two years as your principal.
Last week was emotional and this week will be too, as we reopen our classrooms and yet some students are still at home. I am thankful for our community, our families, teachers, staff, and students, for all of our TEAMWORK!
Thank you for giving me the honor to lead our community through some of the most trying times in history. We will get through this together!
Respectfully,
:) Principal Juergens

PE, Science, Art, Music, Technology, & Library
PE & Science
HYBRID:
Classes will take place during asynchronous time
Teachers will manage ZOOMS like before; teachers have their own ZOOM links
Music, Art, Technology and Library
HYBRID:
Classes will take place during asynchronous time
Instructional Assistants/Librarians will manage their own ZOOMS
The teacher WILL NOT be in the ZOOM to support them as they will be teaching their opposite class (AM/PM)
Please note prior to Hybrid reopening the teacher managed the ZOOM
Their Zooms WILL have waiting rooms so please help your child be on time as it will be disruptive to let kids in who are late especially if this happens frequently as it will disrupt the lesson
If this becomes an issue late students (after 3-4 minutes) will miss that weeks opportunity
We need your help during these times to make sure they are on time and behavior expectations are followed to make this successful
PE & Science, Music, Art, Technology and Library
REMOTE:
