Protists are classified by how they move, Some have cilla or flagella, but the amoeba has a wierd way of moving around, The Amoeba moves around by stretching its cytoplasm into finger-like extentions known as pseudopodia.Onto something else, No two amoeba are exactly the same, All amoeba have a cell membrane that is very flexible, This allows the amoeba to change shape. All amoeba have the ability to form vacuoles around their food, And the vacuoles of an amoeba are like the human stomach, It breaks down food and excretes the waste from the amoeba and uses the energy to move and trap other cells for more energy. The amoeba also has a nucleus,And that is the brain-like structure of the amoeba, It allows for day-to-day functions, Such as moving, digesting and reproducing.

Amoeba normally live in stagnant ponds, shallow pools, And moist dirt,The amoeba can also be found on moist leaves
