Pennies for Patients Recap
Thank you to everyone who participated or helped out in some way with Pennies for Patients! We couldn't do this every year without your help and support. It was a success and we raised a total of $3,602.02! We beat last year's total raised :) In 5 years, SMS has raised $22,918 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! That's something to be proud of!!
Big congrats to Ms. Mullins and her Connections class for raising the most money...$640.51! And congrats to these classes: 2nd place: Mr. Miller's class with $512.53, 3rd place: Ms. Tant's class with $360.97, 4th place: Ms. Hersey's class with $209.43, and 5th place: Ms. Beam's class with $167.30. In order to continue our success with this campaign, we would like to have your feedback on the week(s) so please share!

High School Registration & Visit
EAST GASTON
EG counselors will be at SMS on Tuesday, March 15th to register students for high school. We will let you know when your class can come to the library to register.NORTH GASTON
Students assigned to attend NG will visit on Wednesday, March 23. Students will leave at 8:30 am and should be back by 10:30 am. See the counselors for this list of students.

The lottery for rising 9th graders is Thursday, March 17 at 4 pm.
GASTON EARLY COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL
