Our School Vision

Vision: North Metro Academy of Performing Arts will be the best charter school in the state of Georgia where students acquire the 21st century knowledge and skills ignited by the arts to be successful in high school and college.

Mission: NMAPA engages students in instruction that integrates academics and performing arts in ways that address the unique needs and interests of each student, while intentionally developing confidence, imagination and collaboration.

Family Paint Night

Thank you to all of the beautiful families that participated in our inaugural Family Paint Night. It was a huge success — special shout out to the Art Department, Performing Arts Department and Ms. Perry for hosting a great event.

Beta Club Soars in Savannah

Congratulations to our Beta Club for a fantastic showing in Savannah at the Jr. Beta Club Convention. Our students did a tremendous job of showcasing their talent. Special shout out to Dr. Hawkins, Mr. Bryant, Ms. Perry, Ms. Sullivan, and Ms. Scott for ensuring our scholars were safe in Savannah.

Silver Spoon

Congratulations to our Silver Spoon winner for this week Mr. Calloway. This award recognizes a staff member who demonstrates a strong commitment to our students. This staff member encourages students and staff to think imaginatively, critically, and independently. Each week a new staff member will receive the silver spoon.

Winter Break

Winter Break for students begins on Friday, December 21st- Wednesday, January 2nd. Faculty and Staff will report back to work on Wednesday, January 2nd. Students will return to school on Thursday, January 3rd.

Lost & Found

Please stop by the Lost & Found and identify any items that may belong to your scholar. Any items left will be donated to the Salvation Army over the holiday break.

Birthday Parties

Birthday celebrations shall only take place during recess and lunch. Please limit your items to cupcakes or cake (pre-sliced). Class parties will take place before winter break and the last day of school. Please contact the front office if you have any questions or concerns.
