While we are still awaiting some additional hires to arrive, we have arranged for our Instructional Excellence Coaches to teach some of our classes. They are supported by our Department Instructional Leaders and Subject Matter Experts.

Substitute Teachers Needed
Subs can choose to work on days of your choice and you can pick your subject areas of preference. Currently substitutes can earn $150/day or $200/day as a long-term substitute.

Site Council
We Need Your Voice
Site Council is an excellent way for you to be involved in our school. Come learn about our academic initiatives, school activities and more. Site council is a group of teachers, parents, classified employees and students that work with the principal to develop, review, and evaluate school improvement programs and budgets.
We will share information about a new CGUHS Booster Club during our first Site Council meeting. The Booster Club will focus on a possible Grad Night and how we can continue to recognize our excelling staff and students.

Booster Club - Want to Get Involved
The purpose of the booster club will be to help promote staff and student recognition along with developing a Grad Night for our graduates.
Health Update
Please continue to use general precautions to help everyone stay healthy:
- Wash your hands frequently. We have hand sanitizing stations in each classroom.
- Cough into your elbow and away from others
- Stay home if you are sick. Don't forget to call in your absence and check your classes Learning Logs on Blackboard for your assignments.

Some Beginning of the Year Essentials
- Dress Code: We encourage students to dress for success. These means that students should not wear inappropriate t-shirts, bandanas or other head covering. No BBBB (Breasts, Bellies, Backs or Butts). Additional information can be found in our student handbook at: CGUHSD-StudentHandbookEnglish-Current.pdf
- IDs must be on and visible.
- New Lunch forms need to be completed. Please use the following link: MySchoolApps - Select District. Please note that breakfast and lunch does have a cost this year. Additional information can be found at: Food Services (cguhsd.org) Note that we will always provide a student a lunch. Lunch lines have been full this year, but each day our lunch lines have been empty prior to the end of the lunch period.
- Bookstore hours for students will be before school, during lunch and after school to help us focus on our academic learning. Families can access the bookstore during normal business hours.
