Tuesday, January 25 is GCPS' fourth Asynchronous Digital Learning Day for the 2021-2022 school year.

All students will learn from home this day. Students should log in to the student portal by 8:00 a.m., navigate to their teacher's eCLASS page, and work on assignments at their own pace. This includes special areas classes (art, music, PE and computer science). There are NO live lessons on this day.

If you are borrowing a device from school, please care for the device and return it with students the next day.

Health and Wellness

I want to thank you all for continuing to adhere to CDC guidelines for health and wellness. We will continue to follow building safety measures to minimize risk and create a healthy learning environment for all. Please review the following procedures we have in place. In addition, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the main office.


• Masks REQUIRED in all public areas (hallways, media center, classrooms)

• Adhere to the one-way hallways when possible

• Health guidance posters will be displayed throughout the building

• Each common area and classroom will have a box of gloves, paper towels, and sanitizer

• Custodial schedules are in place to ensure the cleaning of high touch areas daily

• Refrain from sharing materials (i.e., pens, pencils, etc.)

• Frequent hand washing practices will be implemented daily

• Students are socially distanced during school lunch hours, when feasible


Visitation limits in the building-- Postponement of parental lunch visitation until further notice. All other school-related teacher-conferences or registrations will be by appointment only.


If your child is feeling sick, please keep them home. . If you or anyone in your home is sick and/or has tested positive for COVID-19, please email your child’s homeroom teacher or contact our school nurse, Ms. Cindy Flowers, immediately.

Visit the Gwinnett County Public Library at least two times (have a staff member initial the Bingo Card) AND turn in two reading logs (for Grades K-1), or log at least 200 minutes in Biblionasium (for Grades 2-5) and add the minutes to the Winter Reading Challenge. We love our local Hamilton Mill Branch of the GCPL, but you may visit any branch. Click below for more details and the Bingo Card!

The shirt form with all the information you need to order one is in today's Friday folder. This is the only PE fundraiser of the year, so please consider buying one for your child.

I Scream You Scream We All Scream for Ice Cream

Students have the opportunity to purchase ice cream from a variety of selections during lunch. Ice cream is $1.00 and is sold Monday through Friday for all grade levels. Class Parties for ice creams sales are also available. Please click the link below for details.
