Back to School Updates

2021-22 School Year

Hello Parents and Guardians,

This is one of our favorite times of the year as we start off the school year on a positive note and we can't wait to welcome the freshman, Class of 2025, into our school community tomorrow. We hoped that school would look a little different this year, but as always, we will continue to overcome any challenges presented by COVID-19 .

During the first couple weeks of the school year, principals will be leading orientation meetings with students to review expectations for Red River students regarding COVID-19 procedures along with academic requirements and appropriate behaviors in conjunction with our school mission statement of ”inspiring and empowering all learners to enrich the world through collaboration, innovation, and integrity". We have also included information in the newsletter for you to view related to our mask policy, guidelines for breakfast, lunch, and arrival and dismissal times.

Finally, please be sure to make note of the important upcoming dates below.

Thank you for your continued support of Red River High School

Lockers

Due to social distancing requirements, we will have a VERY limited number of lockers to offer to students this year. Therefore they will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. If your student is in need of a locker, please have them see Hannah in the main office during the first week back to school.

Red River High School does not have a specific school supply list. Students should have a backpack to carry their belongings, paper, writing utensils, calculators, etc. Teachers might ask students to purchase some supplies for their specific class through the first few weeks.
