Thank you!

To the GES community,

My family and I would like to express our gratitude for Neon Day at GES. We are overwhelmed by the outpour of support in the community, and are so touched by the thoughtfulness you have given to our family. Our loss is great but our hearts are hopeful. It is people like you that bring us strength, comfort, and hope. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart

We are off and running with our Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart campaign for this year. All students should have received a packet this week about how to join our team for this amazing project. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to call or email Mr. Sutherlin.

I did not set a goal for the year, but I can tell you this-if we raise $21,932 we will go over 1/4 million dollars for our school total in 13 years!!!! Pretty Cool-huh! Also, HSE schools went over 2 million last year for all schools involved with this amazing project. Thanks so much for your past support and I look forward to another great year.

Some incentives for this year are:
Jump Rope contest winner will receive a $5 Dairy Queen gift card
Free throw contest winner will receive a $5 Dairy Queen gift card
$100 party after school for all students raising $100 or more
The student who raises the most money by Feb. 22 will be able to shave Mr. Sutherlin's beard and head!!!!

By the way, the price of the haircut is already up to $750!!!!!!!

You can tell we are off to a great start and I look forward to another awesome year! As always, if you have questions, don't hesitate to call or email.
