The 2019-2020 yearbooks were handed out last week during block 3 study hall time. If you ordered a book and did not receive one, please contact Mrs. Eben at Neenah.Eben@marshall.k12.mn.us. Also, there are a couple of extra copies available. If you did not purchase one and would like a copy, again please contact Mrs. Eben. It will be first come, first serve. The cost is $50 and checks can be written out to MHS Yearbook.
- Picture Re-take Day at MHS is Wednesday, September 23.
Students who are in school that day will have their pictures taken during the day. Students who are learning virtually that day have been sent an email with a link to sign up for a time to come in after school.
BPA students interested in applying to be a local, region or state officer should let Ms. Kellen know as soon as possible.
- The Tiger’s Den is now open! Look for posted hours and grab a snack or drink
- Seniors: If you would like your On to College Binder, please stop in the office and see Deb or Kelly.
Breakfast and Lunches provided by MPS will be free of charge to anyone 18 years old or younger. Onsite meals, as well as "grab and go" meals for distance learners will be free until December 31st, 2020 (or earlier if funding runs out). Distribution will be at the HS Theatre doors and at the MS gym entrance from 11AM - 1 PM.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT FAMILIES STILL COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THEIR FREE/REDUCED APPLICATIONS, AS THE FREE MEAL PROGAM IS SCHEDULED TO END ON 12/30/2020 OR EARLIER.
Student Services Announcements
Just a reminder to seniors to check their student email. Counselors are scheduling senior check appointments and are sending meeting notices through email.
- On Tuesday, October 6, MHS seniors will take the ACT at Marshall High School beginning at 8:00 a.m. in the South Gym. Students should bring with them a calculator, and several #2 pencils
- There will be a virtual financial aid meeting on Teams for seniors and their parents on Wednesday, October 7th from 6:30-7:30 P.M. Students will receive an email from Mrs.Hansen with a link to join the meeting. All seniors should plan to attend this important meeting to learn how to apply for aid to pay for college.
MHS students are assigned to a counselor based on the first letter of his/her last name.
