Cell phones are not to be used by students inside the school during school hours from 8:35 am to 3:55 pm without teacher permission. The school offices are open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday to receive phone calls. Students may use the office phone when necessary. Messages will be delivered to students as needed. As such, please assist us by NOT messaging or directly contacting your student during the day. Violation of this policy will result in a cell phone discipline plan for the student.
Cell phone disruptions and distractions are beginning to interfere with classroom instruction. Parents please be mindful of the above cell phone policy. If you need to contact your child during the school day, please contact the front office at 970-686-8200.
Hats-Off Teacher Award Recipients
We're a bit behind on Hats-Off Awards, but today we're going to start catching up! First, Mr. Mathern! One of Mr. Mathern's students writes, "He is always joking around with kids and making funny jokes to make students feel comfortable. It’s always fun to go to his class." Congratulations Mr. Mathern! You're awesome!
Here's another Hats-Off Award for one of our outstanding teachers, Ms. Gradisar! One of Ms. Gradisar's students writes, "I really want to nominate Ms. Gradisar because she really helped me when I needed it in class. She helped me fail forward and she guided me so I did not fall backwards. I was struggling and she helped me overcome it. Now I am doing the best in her class and even was a leader. I learned a lot from her and that is why I want to nominate her." Congratulations Ms. Gradisar! You're the sharpest tool in the shed!

SRO Student of the Week
Congrats to our SRO Student of the Week, Kellen! (Sorry, no pic for this week's SRO Student of the Week. But we wanted to post the nomination.) "Kellen is the BEST helper. EVERYDAY he is in Mrs. Royse's and Mrs. Jaeger's classrooms cleaning up just to help them out. He is a light in everyone's day, and it is clear that he cares for Windsor Middle School and his teachers well. PLEASE choose Kellen. He truly is SRO student of the week."
