April Happenings!!
Brought to you by Class Council
Sexual Harassment Week 4/11- 4/16
Sexual harassment is a serious and growing concern among communities, even more so within university campuses. As a result, the Tatkon center has organized a week of events to spread awareness, speak about methods of prevention and hear from sexual assault survivors. All events are free and open to the entire student population!
Earth Day
Earth Day is coming up and there's no better time to wear green, hug a tree, recycle your plastic bottles and just take a moment to look around. Stop into the Tatkon center on Friday April 22nd, 3-5pm in celebration of Earth Day! Sustainability activites, music and food - what a better way to recognize planet Earth?
Playbook
Join 3,600 students from around the Ivy League and sign up for Summer Playbook to see who's around this summer. Playbook allows you to find friends, housing, and adventure, Playbook is an entirely free and idealistic program with the sole purpose of connecting you with other students no matter where you are. It is supported by students at Harvard, Yale, Stanford Yale-NUS, Princeton, Dartmouth, Penn, Columbia, Cornell, MIT, Wellesley, NYU, Brown, Cambridge, and Oxford.
Field Day and Spirit Week
On May 7th Class Council will be hosting the first ever FIELD DAY! This will be a competition between all north campus dorms for the all-desirable, highly distinguished, shiny dorm cup. During the week of May 2nd there will be team spirit rallies, daily themes to dress as and other fun opportunities to earn points for your dorm. All this will culminate in a day of sport and fun on Appel fields as the dorms duke it out for the trophy.
Stay posted - more details to come!
That's all for now class!
