How to use Adobe Spark & other Tools
Adobe Spark Example
Adobe Spark has searchable images and music you can use for your video.
You can also record narration over each image.
How to LOG INTO Adobe Spark with your NEISD/Google Account
- Open a New Tab in Chrome
- Go to www.adobe.com
- Click on the "Sign In" link (upper-right of screen)
- Click on the "Sign in with an Enterprise ID" link (lower part of the page)
- Enter your FULL NEISD Email Address
- You should then be logged into Adobe
- Do a search for "adobe spark" in the top toolbar
- (see the looking glass icon)
You will also have access from home
As a TEAM:
Chose ONE TEAM MEMBER and use that Adobe Spark account to create your video.

*Use a MIC to record narration!*
Ask to BORROW a mic in the LC from Ms. Diaz when you are ready to
record narration over each image in your Adobe Spark!
ADDING your OWN ORIGINAL MEDIA: 3 OPTIONS
Choose one scene, event or detail from your team's assigned narrative
to "retell" or visualize by creating your own original media element.
Your options are:
Option 1: Google Drawings
RECOMMENDED Image SIZE for Adobe Spark Video:
960 x 540 pixels
Google Drawings lives INSIDE Google Drive:
+ New--> More--> Google Drawing
Template Option: Original Image Template
- Choose "Make a Copy" to add to your Google Drive
- Follow the directions on the drawing document
- Download your finished image as a .PNG or .JPG
- Import/upload your image into your Adobe Spark
Other Option: Google Drawings Mosaic
- Follow the directions on the link for creating your own mosaic from an image in Google Drawing
- Download your finished image as a .PNG or .JPG
- Import/upload your image into your Adobe Spark
Option 2: Green Screen Scene

- simple script (or silent action with narration over the scene)
Steps:
- Plan out the scene = action, roles, any lines or narration
- Choose a copyright-friendly background image from this link, and save it to the camera roll on an iPad
- Video record the scene using an iPad in front of a green screen:
- App: Touchcast Studio
- Save the filmed video to the iPad
- Upload the video to your Google Drive
- Download & Import video to your Adobe Spark
Option 3: Stop-Motion Animation w/Legos
- Stop Motion App
- Legos
- simple script (or silent action with narration over the scene)
Steps:
- Plan out the scene = action, lines or narration
- Film the scene using the Stop Motion app
- Save the filmed video to the iPad (as MP4 file)
- Upload the video to your Google Drive
- Download & Import video to your Adobe Spark
