The Week in Review
There is not a ton of new happenings this week (sorry!), but here is what we have going:
During the short four day week our learners adjusted well to a weird week! On Tuesday, some groups finished presenting their alternative energy projects which included an encore presentation from a group in 5A for Ms. O'Neill! We then spent some time talking about why we need alternative energy and how that will be a topic for the rest of their lives as our world transitions from nonrenewable resources. On Wednesday, we completed our middle of year MAP assessments, before we worked on our science vocabulary with a game of pictionary on Thursday!

On Deck: Science
This week we will begin to turn our eyes towards space and the Sun, Earth, and Moon as our learners move through stations which will help their understanding with each one and how those systems work together and impact our life on Earth.
On Deck: Social Studies
In Social Studies, we are beginning the Revolutionary War and we will be learning about the beginnings of this conflict that created our nation!
Once our nation has been established we can begin our look at the Constitution and how that document helped create the nation we have today!

There are no new updates from the crew in the tank. Everyone seems pleased with the environment and there have been no new cases of fish-on-fish crime within the past few months!
