Course Request Changes for 2021-2022 School Year
Any student desiring to make a change to their course request for the 2021-2022 academic school year will need to submit a course request change form to IHS School Counseling by June 15, 2021. Per the District 5 course catalog, no schedule changes will be accepted after June 15, 2021 except for the following circumstances:
- When credit has been earned during summer school.
- A prerequisite course is failed
- There is a computer error
The Course Request Change form can be accessed here. Students must use their LexRich5 student email to complete this form for identification purposes. For any additional questions or concerns regarding a course change request, please contact your assigned Irmo High School Counselor.

GRADUATION PRACTICE
Date: June 16 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm in the Large Gym
MANDATORY!!! Participation pending all fees, school issued items returned, and meeting all academic requirements.**Graduation Cap and Gown must be worn.**
SENIOR AWARDS CEREMONY
Date: June 17 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm in the Center for the Arts

GRADUATE GUEST ADMISSION PROCESS
Graduates will be allowed six guests, and guests must arrive and enter the ceremony site with their graduate. Tickets will not be issued (i.e. Graduates are the “ticket” for guest admission into the ceremony facility). There is no general admission seating.
GRADUATE/GUEST ARRIVAL & SEATING
Arrival will begin at 6:30 a.m. for graduates and their guests attending our 8 a.m. morning graduations. Graduate arrival times are as follows:
8 a.m. Graduation Ceremonies
- 6:30am-6:45am Last Names A-F
- 6:45am-7:00am Last Names G-L
- 7:00am-7:15am Last Names M-R
- 7:15am-7:30am Last Names S-Z
- 7:30am-7:45am Late Arrival

Final Transcript Requests
All members of the graduating Class of 2021 who are college bound MUST request that their final transcript be sent via parchment. This can be done by doing the following:
- Log into your parchment.com account
- Click order
- Select college/university you will be attending
- Choose the “Hold for final grades” option

Scholarship Award Reporting
The School Counseling Department needs your help! Scholarship awards received by graduating seniors need to be documented. The School Counseling Department needs this information to be able to celebrate your successes and to accurately report scholarship awards ( academic, athletic, military or other) for the Class of 2021. Only scholarship awards reported using this form will be listed in the Class of 2021 graduation program. The form can be accessed here
Please use your student Google email account when adding your scholarship awards.
The name and photo associated with your Google account will allow us to follow up with you if additional information is needed.
You will also be asked to upload a copy of the actual award letter or email.
Please print to PDF or take a screenshot and upload.
A new form must be completed for each scholarship award

All Grades will be finalized and stored on June 22, 2021

SUMMER INFORMATION
Summer Office Hours
Starting Monday, June 21 Irmo High School offices will move to a modified summer schedule. The hours will be as followed:
Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 4 pm
Friday: CLOSED
Cafeteria Hours
Starting Monday, June 21 Irmo High School will be offering meals to students who wish to eat on campus.
The hours will be as followed:
BREAKFAST:
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am - 9:30 am
Friday: CLOSED
LUNCH:
Monday - Thursday: 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
Friday: CLOSED
Summer Meal Pick Up
IHS will continue its meal pick up over the summer.
When: Every Wednesday
Time: 10:30 - 12 pm
Where: IHS Bus Loop
Parent Portal
On June 18 Powerschool will be turning off access to Parent Portal for the summer. Notifications will be sent out for the 2021-2022 school year when parents can access their accounts.
