Notes from the desk of Prinicpal Papes
Hello Parents and Families!,
We’ve had another fantastic week here! Our students have established great routines and our classroom learning communities are thriving. I continue to be impressed with the high quality teaching and learning I see taking place every day. We continue to reinforce to our students that they are Safe, Thoughtful, Accountable, and Respectful as Alto Alto Stars. They are doing a great job in all settings within our school. We have amazing kids! Thank you for all that you do to prepare them for success each day.
Pink Arrow
Happy Pink Arrow #15! We had a great Pep Assembly this morning with high school students from the marching band, boys soccer, volleyball, football and cheer visiting. We also formed the #15 inside the track with all members of our school community to have a drone picture taken. For more information about Pink Arrow, please visit http://www.pinkarrowpride.org/ to learn more. We hope to see you at the games tonight!
Ice Cream Social – Friday, September 9th - 6:00-8:00 PM
Alto Families are invited to the school on the evening of September 9th from 6:00-8:00 PM for an ice cream social. The Lowell High School Fusion Rock Orchestra will be performing. We are excited to again be hosting this event and hope to see you there!
School Fundraiser (Moved from February to September for the 22-23 School Year)
We are excited to offer a way to give back to ALTO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL! On 9/12/2022 we will be kicking off an event to help raise funds that will benefit all of our students and staff. Our Step It UP! program, will help with funding for Field Trips, STEAM experiences, Guest presenters, Special classroom projects and supplies, Supplemental curricular purchases, and Staff appreciation.
It is going to be AWESOME; we are excited to get started!
A few things to note:
This program will be very easy for you. It only requires about 10 minutes of your time. Your students can earn great rewards, just for their effort. No money required!
This is an online, donation-based fundraiser, and the email and text message donation requests can go to people you know anywhere in the world. That means no direct pressure on your shoulders.
Students will be bringing home more information after our Launch Party presentation on September 12th. Please help your student register and complete the Golden Ticket assignment THAT VERY NIGHT! All students who complete the Golden Ticket assignment will receive fun PRIZES and it does not require any money to register. We will also have some fun drawings for a $250 Amazon Gift Card and four Mini Party Fridges stuffed with CASH!
I will be sending a few more emails throughout the two-week program. Please contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you in advance for your support!
Have a great holiday weekend! Go Alto All Stars! Go Red Arrows!
With Appreciation,
Paul Papes
