Superintendent's Report
*Dr. Price was not present at Board the meeting due to a minor medical procedure. Board President Maritza Gonalez-Cooper delivered the Superintendent's Report.*
-The TEA has informed us that Hold Harmless will benefit Boerne ISD resulting in us having to pay a much smaller recapture payment than we anticipated.
-We have begun discussing the next steps in our COVID protocols as it relates to Graduation, Summer School, and the 2021-22 school year. If we can continue our low COVID positivity rate and continue our high vaccination rate we may be able to make changes to our protocols for those events (i.e, masks). We will update the Board on these decisions at the May Board meeting.
-We are awaiting guidance from the State Legislature and the TEA in regards to E-Learning being authorized for the 2021-22 school year.
Next Board Meeting: Monday, May 17th, 2021
