Intermittent School to Home Academic Support Ending Soon...

Intermittent School to Home academic support for temporary medical conditions will close at the end of the fall semester on Friday, December 17. Beginning with the spring 2022 semester, students absent from school will follow the District’s make-up policy in regards to missed assignments and assessments. Please refer to the Katy ISD Secondary or Elementary student handbooks for more information.

Car Rider Pick-Up Safety

We need your help! Please do not park or pick up students on WoodCreek Bend Lane directly in front of the school. Additionally, all students need to utilize the crosswalks when crossing the streets.

After meeting with the City of Katy, a few changes are expected this December.

  1. WoodCreek Bend Lane will become one long school zone from Kingsland to Katy Flewellen. This is being done in order to control the traffic bottleneck at Morgan Pkwy/Rustic Woods Lane and improving the traffic along WoodCreek Bend Lane. Ramps for pedestrian access will also be installed. Until this is completed, we will have a KISD officer assisting with traffic flow at this intersection.
  2. The city plans to install "No Parking or Stopping during School Zone Times" along WoodCreek Bend Land from Katy Flewellen west to the driveway entrance for Wood Creek Junior High. This is being done to prevent students from crossing our pick-up line traffic and entering vehicles parking on the street.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and support to keep our students safe. Thank you Timberwolves!

Athletic Tickets

Beginning August 4, there will be an easier way to purchase Katy ISD athletic event tickets! Pay N' Go Tix is a fully-digital ticketing program that will allow patrons to purchase tickets to junior high and select high school athletic events in advance. From the Katy ISD Athletics webpage, click the Pay N’ Go Tix Athletic Tickets button. From there, you’ll be able to pick either junior high athletic events, or select high school athletic events. You’ll locate the game you wish to attend, purchase your tickets, and show the QR/barcode at the gate to be scanned. It’s that easy! Please note, that at this time only junior high and high school athletic events will be available for purchase via Pay N’ Go Tix. Fine Arts will be integrated into the system in spring 2022, while it is anticipated that varsity football tickets will be available in the system by the summer semester. Varsity football and fine arts will continue to utilize their existing ticketing sales platforms until they are transitioned to Pay N’ Go Tix.
