Literacy
In reading, we will continue to work on making sure we understand what we are reading. We also spend some time reviewing the skills of visualizing while reading and inferring.

- will
- every
- just
- milk
- thrill
- +1 personal word to be decided as a class on Monday morning
In writing, we will continue to work on poetry. We will learn how descriptive language help our poems to be more exciting. In addition to continuing our practice with common and proper nouns, we also learn about synonyms and antonyms.
Math
Please help your child at home by having them skip count by 2s, 5s, and 10s. Give them an extra challenge by giving them the start and finish number. For another challenge, have them count backwards by 1s from 120 all the way down to 0!
Science / Engineering
STEM bags will be sent home again starting this week. If you are unable to complete the task, please return the bag, with all of the materials, immediately. Students are to keep the bag for one week only, from Friday to Friday. In keeping the bag and materials at home, other students are denied the opportunity to participate. Thank you for your understanding.
