The Odyssey
March 31st, 2023

From the Principal
Hello MQSCA Families-
This weekend is Palm Sunday which leads us into Holy Week. This is my favorite time of the year in the church calendar. Lent is a time where we sacrifice so much to help us reset our spiritual self. Starting with Holy Thursday mass, lent is officially over and we transition into the Easter Tridium of Good Friday, The Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday. This is the last week where we live up to those sacrifices that we have made, knowing that lent is almost over. However, in order for that to happen, we know that Jesus has a traitor, goes through a brutal and tortuous condemnation to His death. Please continue to work through this Lenten season, and offer up your sacrifices you have made to God as we prepare for his resurrection on Easter Sunday!
Just a couple of reminders. Tuesday at our school mass, Father will be blessing all of the blessing bags. If you wish to still donate a blessing bag, please have it into the office before 8:00am Tuesday morning.
Lastly, we are looking for students to be acolytes at mass. Please see below for more information!
In Christ-
Mr. Lee

Acolytes are students that would assist the priest during mass, some may remember them as servers. If your son or daughter would be interested, we are working with the parish to set up training this school year in preparation for the next school year. Please fill out this form if you child(ren) are interested.
LITTLE LEAGUE OF WEST ALLIS
Wisconsin State Forward Testing
MQSCA will begin the Wisconsin State Forward Testing on March 21, 2023. 3rd through 8th grade students will all be required to take the Forward Exam. We are excited for our students to show off all of the knowledge they have learned so far this year! Teachers will communicate home what tests will be given on which days, as not all grades may test on the same days.
Help MQSCA get known! Like our page on Facebook!
One of the easiest ways you can help our school is by liking our Facebook page and sharing our postings. This is important for our school during the enrollment period! We have learned that the best way to advertise our school is through Facebook, not on the radio or in a newspaper. I know, who actually likes social media?!!
The second best way to help our enrollment is you! Word of mouth is also another way to get families to join the MQSCA family. If you here someone looking for a school, spread the word of MQSCA. We are putting together a incentive for current families to earn for recruiting new families. The more students you can bring to MQSCA, the more you can earn! Look for more information coming soon!
