Beginning of Year Grace Period is Over — It's Time to Intervene!
We are now more than two months into the school year, and we have learned our students' strengths and weaknesses. Some students have gaps in learning and/or need specific support. You may have a student struggling with behavior, an English learner, a student with a disability, or students struggling with literacy and math. On the other hand, you may have a student who is excelling beyond the norm. So, what's the next step?

Looking for Ways to Increase Listening & Speaking Proficiency for ELs AND Prepare for TELPAS?
Currently, there is a lot of attention in Texas surrounding the online listening and speaking portions of the TELPAS. The shift from holistic rating to online has stirred up concerns for both testing preparation and incorporation of instructional approaches to developing listening and speaking proficiency.
If your district/charter has the Instructional Solutions & Support Contract with ESC Region 11, you have access to VoiceThread. Not only do you have access, but you have someone here at the ESC who can help you with implementation!
Check out VoiceThread below and meet Maria Collins, Digital Integration Coach. Also, check out the ESC Region 11 Digital Team's URockEdu Updates.
