From the Principal
When we return, we have 3 busy weeks of school, which include benchmark testing for most of our students. Please look for communication from your child's teacher regarding those specifics.
"Showing gratitude is one of the simplest, yet most powerful things humans can do for each other." Randy Pausch
LSRO is thankful for you!
Have a great weekend and a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Special Programs Specialist
Due to Fall Benchmark testing, our campus will be CLOSED to parents and visitors December 5th, 10th-12th. Parents will not be allowed to eat lunch with students, volunteer, or do classroom observations on these days. Thank you for your cooperation!
These tests give teachers important information about what your child has learned so far and what still needs to be worked on this spring. Please help your child by making sure they get enough sleep and have a good breakfast. Students may bring a snack and bottle of water on these days.
Perfect Attendance Incentives
Life School Red Oak would like to encourage our students to be in attendance each day to make sure they can “Ready to Learn, Ready to Lead, Ready for Life.” We will hold a drawing at the end of each month for all students that have perfect attendance for that month. Students must have perfect attendance during the month, no absences, tardies, or early checkouts. There will be a prize for students that are in Kindergarten thru 3rd grade and a prize for students in 4th grade thru 6th grade. The prize winners will be announced during morning announcements and we will contact the parents/guardians to come by the office to pick up the prizes. Please see Pages 3-4 of the Student Handbook for the Attendance guidelines.

GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE
When you are ready to learn you have an understanding of the world around you. You show respect to cultures and their views, as well as, value the customs and traditions that may be different from your own. You work to make a positive impact on everyone you meet. By doing these things, you are using the leader attribute GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE.
This weeks I will statement:
“I will practice having a global perspective by realizing that my way is not always the best way.”
