Weekly Staff Bulletin
May 9-13, 2016
Hello Everyone,
Happy Mother's day to all our moms. I called my mom this weekend. For those of you who don't know, my mom is a teacher and probably the number one reason I went into education. She knew I would be a teacher long before I did. :-)
On Wednesday, May 11 our own Katie Thomas will be returning to Poynter. She is excited to be returning to her role. Please stop by and see her and welcome her back. I am sure she will be out and about on her first day back reconnecting with staff and students.
Nabil's last day will be on May 20th. Katie and Nabil will be transitioning the Assistant Principal job during this time. Nabil will be returning to the district office for a short time after May 20 before he assumes his new position as Principal of Farmington View Elementary School. Congratulations to Nabil on his new role.
On Friday, I stopped in a few times on the PBIS summit and heard about the AWESOME things planned for 2016-2017. Their meeting was extremely productive and thoughtful. Great work PBIS team.
Have a great week ahead and enjoy this awesome weather,
Jon
