COWHANDS NEEDED

REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS NEEDED FOR THE JOB:

A typical cowhand works with moving cattle to the open range. While moving cattle to the range you will need to be able to properly heard and drive the cattle, without letting them get injured and you will also need to be able to count heads. You will need to be able to protect the cattle from predators. Everyday you will be waking up very early to get the cattle ready and moving. You will then take a head count and then work until the sun goes down. You must be ready to make the long drive!

If you were to become one of my cowhands you would be working throughout the country. Your main goal for this job is to get my cattle to the railroads so they can be shipped off and sold at major markets. Typically my cowhands like to use the Chisholm Trail. Although this trail is well used you will have to fight off predators. You will need to be willing to do anything to protect my cattle! Some major challenges you will face are you will be responsible for finding open range for my cattle to graze and you will need to control them very carefully, preventing injury to my cattle should be your number one priority.
