From Mrs. Hanford

On Saturday November 11, 2023, the city of Loveland will be celebrating Veterans Day will their annual Veterans Day Parade. The parade passes by Truscott Elementary School on N. Garfield Ave. beginning at 11:11 am. Each year Truscott students have attended the parade, waving flags in support of local Veterans.

If your family would like to participate in this event, please come to Truscott around 10:45 am to wave a flag and say thank you to our local Veterans. Mrs. Hanford will be there along with some Truscott staff. Flags will be provided to be used during the parade and then returned to our team for use next school year. Families will need to stay with their children during this time. We hope to see you there!

On Monday, November 13, 2023, during Truscott's Monday morning All School Assembly, we would like to recognize any family members of students that are Veterans (parents, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, grandparents...). We hope you are able to attend as we recognize and thank them for their service to our country. If you have any questions, please reach out to Truscott's front office.

Enjoy your weekend!

If You Pull up to the Front of the School at eight Minutes After or Later

We need you to come into the front office and sign your child in. The tardy bell rings at ten minutes after the hour so by the time they make it to their classroom they are late.

Please send a water bottle and backpack with your student everyday

We have water bottle filling stations so please send your child with a water bottle everyday so they have water in the classroom. Please make sure to label the water bottle with their name.

Canned food drive

The Philo canned food drive will started on November 1st and go through Thursday, November 30th. Students will be able to use a Tiger ticket in trade for a can of food to donate to the drive.
