Lost and Found

We have an abundance of items that have accumulated in our Lost and Found area. We have now placed the items on tables in Center Court. If your student is missing any jackets, water bottles, zipper bags, etc. please tell them to look at the tables in Center Court for their missing items when they arrive on campus before reporting to their classroom. We will have the items out for display for the next couple of weeks.

Thank you!

Morning Mile

Our first milestone this week saw 3rd grader Anders Hanson crossing the finish line on 100 miles! The Hanson family are regulars on the Morning Mile field and are on a roll this year. Next up was 200 miler 6th grader Ella Drapeau. Ella is such an inspiration to us, she never lets anything slow her down! Next we saw 6th graders Maggie McNall and Sebastian Mandese run 300 miles. Finally 3rd grader Creed McNall was the first student to run 400 miles! Creed runs at least 4 miles every morning and can always be seen leading the pack at Morning Mile and during the Run Brevard Race Series– amazing! I know we haven’t seen the last milestone from these fast kids. Keep it up everyone!

Come support Morning Mile by participating in the Pirate Plunder 2 miler on Saturday, April 1. Gemini is in second place currently with two races to go in the series. We need everyone! All participants 14 and under earn points for Team Gemini. Youth registration is $20 with a no shirt/no medal option for only $10. Every race you run will earn credit for 25 laps (straws) and a fun charm for your Morning Mile necklace.

Morning Mile is FREE and all students at Gemini are automatically signed up. We hope you will come and join us 7:15-7:45 on the field just south of Gemini. No need to be on time, just show up anytime before the first bell. You can get notified about details regarding Gemini’s Morning Mile Program through the Remind App - text @dee9f2f to 81010 or go to https://www.remind.com/join/dee9f2f.
