Tech Help/Laptop Loaner Program
If students want to borrow a laptop, they can fill out this tech help ticket: Tech Help Ticket form
- Laptops with cameras require a $40 cash deposit.
- Laptops without cameras (good for in-person and coach students) do not require a cash deposit.
After submitting a request for a loaner device, students will be put on a waiting list.
- We will contact students by phone or text when one is ready.
- Students must attend their class before receiving a device.
- Laptop loaners from Hubbs are short-term loans (3-6 months).
- Students check them out for 3 months, and they can renew them for another 3 months if they're still active in class.
- Students are advised to look into longer-term options after 6 months.
- The tech help team can send some ideas for purchasing a low-cost device upon request.
- Or, students could earn a refurbished laptop through our DL contest (see below).
For more information about Tech Help for students, check out our webpage:

The City of Saint Paul has declared a one-sided parking ban for RESIDENTIAL streets.
Since Friday, March 10 at 8:00 a.m., parking is NOT allowed on the EVEN numbered side of residential streets. In Saint Paul, the even-numbered side of the street is typically the south or east side of the street. See the Winter 1-Sided Parking Restrictions map to determine which street sections have one-sided parking restrictions (dashed red line): www.stpaul.gov/1sideparkingmap
Follow normal posted parking on arterial (main) streets. Always follow all posted signs, including temporary no parking signs. Do not block residential driveways, alley access or intersections.
The residential street parking ban is needed due to the record snowfall this winter that has narrowed many residential streets. Saint Paul Public Works has been working closely with the Saint Paul Fire Department, Saint Paul Police Department, and Saint Paul Public Schools to monitor street conditions to continue to keep them accessible for emergency vehicles and school buses.
The City will be ticketing and towing vehicles that are in violation of the 1-sided parking restrictions. The City of Saint Paul has created a 1-side parking map to help residents know which streets have the parking restrictions to avoid a potential ticket or tow.
For more information, including a detailed frequently asked questions section visit, www.stpaul.gov/1sideparking.
