Connect-Grow-Share
In John 8:58, Jesus said, "Before Abraham was born I AM." What does that mean? Join us as we dig into Jesus's radical claim that changed everything. CONNECT to God and his people in worship this weekend and GROW together in God's word through LIfe Groups. There are opportunities to CONNECT and GROW for the whole family this week. Special note: if you're still looking for a life group, there is a great Wednesday night opportunity here on campus. Adults can go to their group while kids attend their age-appropriate sessions. For more information or the RSVP contact Leann Luchinger at lluchinger@stjohnsorange.org
Safety Concerns
I know that yesterday's shooting at UMpqua Community COllege in ORegon causes concern and anxiety about camput safety for many parents. Please know that St. John's cares deeply for the safety and secutiry of our students. St. John's has a crisis response plan and all teachers and staff have been trained for how to prevent and manage various kinds of emergency situations. All departments at St. John's continually strive to increase our level of preparedness and make ongoing facility and procedural improvments. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to speak to me.
