When do teachers learn?
Sessions of particular interest might be Google Camp (June 4 at AAI), Nearpod (multiple levels, multiple dates), and sessions regarding our new ClearTouch panels (multiple offerings, multiple dates).

How do teachers learn?
One of the questions I'm often asked is how I keep up with my own PL on top of designing and providing PL sessions for schools and conferences. So I thought I'd put together a list of my favorites and share them here.
- Twitter! First I drink the coffee, then I read the Tweets. Seriously, Twitter is a HUGE source of inspiration and knowledge for me. But it's all about finding the right people to follow. I could list them here, but the best thing to do is to go look at who I follow and start there!
- Feedly: Feedly is an RSS reader that allows me to easily follow a large number of blogs without having to go to all of their different websites. In addition to the personal ones (Disney, Harry Potter, travel, food, etc.), I follow many teaching and EdTech blogs, such as iNACOL, Getting Smart, EdSurge, ISTE, Shake Up Learning, and Catlin Tucker. I use the Chrome extension to easily add new sources as I find them.
- Conferences: One of the best things about presenting at conferences is getting to attend them for free or at a discounted rate. When I'm not presenting, I make the most of my time by going around to see in person many of the people I follow on Twitter or whose blogs I read. I'm able to learn so much from them that I can then bring back and share with you!
I also read a ton of books, both for grad school AND for my PL. Innovator's Mindset was the first "Edu Lit" book that I read by choice and it changed so much about the way I approached reading non-fiction. If you haven't read it, definitely check it out!
What about you? I want to hear some of your suggestions! Share them with me on Twitter or shoot me an email!
