Love, Cheer, and Happy Snow Days!
The weather outside is frightful, but Mrs. Ackenbom's Little Ponies are so delightful!
We treat our classmates with respect.
We work as a team and support others.
We cheer on our friends and make them feel good.
Warm Winter Wishes!
We accomplished a lot of learning these past two days in school. We wished one another a happy day back after our fun in the snow and then were off running with Reader's Theatre, data collection about student-created snowmen, and kindness challenges on Wacky Tacky Day. We even squeezed in some time for knitting!
Winter Writing
We wrote about our favorite January memories...many of them included the fun we had on our snow days!
Snowman Data Collection
In math, we are starting a data collection unit with a focus on using tallies, graphs, and questions to organize information. We will even begin to create our own graphs and formulate our own questions. We are going to learn so much about one another and the world around us!
