Adena Indians
The Andena Indians lives in the Ohio valley region around 700 BC. They grew squash, sunflowers, gourds, and barley. ATheu also produced copper jewlrey and fine pottery. For ho.es they had elaborate burial mounds made up of log structures covered by piles of Earth.
Hopewell Indians
The hopewell Indians arriveied in Ohio valley around 300 BC. They built mines that could be 40 feet high and 100 feet wide. Artifacts found suggest extensitive TRADE networks. The Hopewell as well as Athens Arena were both referred to as" Mound builders."
Mississippian Indians
The Missipian Indians arrived in the Mississippi valley by 800 AD. They had plants that used for many food and when added maize and beans had an increase in population. The increase in population caused need for more land. More land resulted in numerous cities with up to 10,000 people. THhe largest of these people was the Cahokia people.
