SCHOOLWIDE RECYCLING PROJECT
Recycling projects provide students with experiences that help them see that their efforts to reduce waste make a difference. A variety of activities may be used to teach children to take responsibility for keeping the earth clean and making the environment a better place for the future. Here at BIS, we teach students about reducing, reusing and recycling to help the environment. Earth Day is the day of celebration and making promises to make earth a happier, healthier, and greener planet for generation to come.
Busy Bees Team is focusing on a recycling project too. On Wednesday, April 20th preschoolers had a great assembly. The 3 year old class focused on an Earth Day project and prepared a presentation about earth and trashion show out of recycled stuff during assembly. It was great.
Let’s join hands to make EARTH a better place to live.
Happy Earth Day!
Welcome Back on Campus: First Community Event in 2 years
1. Please supervise your children at all times. There will be a kid's corner hosted by the Student Council, but parents still need to supervise their children, especially on the playground equipment.
2. Smoking is not allowed on campus. We are a 100% smoke-free school.
3. Parking is limited so please park in the marked spaces. Our security team will be there to assist you in parking should the lot fill up.
4. Since the event is outside, masks will be optional, not required.
Final Parent-Teacher Conferences May 12th & 13th
May 13th: No school for students. We request all parents from preschool through secondary 4 meet with their child's teachers. Conferences may be held on-campus or virtually, by parent choice. Conferences are scheduled in 20 minute increments from 8:40-5:00.
