Tips for eLearning:
Now that we have had more time on the 2 day a week attendance plan, one recommendation we have for student eLearning days is that students organize their schedules and become available during the teacher’s office hours. We would love to see more of our students attending these office hours. Parents, for your information, all teachers have their office hours posted on their website. We also recommend that students not be shy about asking questions.
Tips for Virtual Students:
Please make yourself to be available during your teacher's live sessions. Even if they also have a video to watch or other assignments, having face to face time with your teachers is critical. Students that are attending these sessions are generally performing better than those who don’t. If you have a conflict with another class, please reach out to your teacher.
RHS to offer After School Tutoring!
Warriors: We will begin After School Tutoring for those students that want extra help. Please see our Tutoring Website for more information.
WIN Testing begins the week of October 19th!
Attention 4th-year students! You should have received a testing memo in your 3rd-period class on Wednesday or Thursday of last week. It included your specific testing day. The only students testing on Monday, October 19th are students who are Attendance Group A/Blue Group. Students last names starting with A-C are in the small gym while students with the last name starting with D are in the library. You must bring your Chromebook updated and fully charged. If you have any questions, please contact Angela Abercrombie at aabercrombie@greenville.k12.sc.us.

Welcome to Riverside!
Susan Censoplano-Russell - English
My name is Susan Censoplano-Russell and I am thrilled to start my new life in South Carolina with my wonderful husband William Russell, who is the author of the middle grades novel Chermpf and a post-secondary teacher of vocational and independent living skills. I am especially excited about being reunited with my sister, who is my best friend, her loving husband, and my amazing niece and nephew. I look forward to our many adventures and tons of family fun.
I graduated from Long Island University with an undergraduate degree in English Education and a Masters in Special Education and began my teaching career in Robeson County, North Carolina. I returned to Long Island, New York to continue teaching English and Special Education. I have worked with students in grades seven through twelve with a wide range of abilities and backgrounds. My passion is helping my students become effective communicators and productive citizens.
Some of my most rewarding experiences beyond the classroom have been serving as the advisor of SADD and the Art and Literary Magazine and, most recently, as the Integrated Athletics coach. Helping students with varied challenges become integral parts of our school community has been an absolute joy.
I strongly believe in how essential a sense of community is in school which is why I am extremely excited to become a member of Riverside High School family.
Dillon Fitts - Social Studies
My name is Dillon Fitts. I was born and have lived in Greer, South Carolina for my entire life. I am a graduate of Blue Ridge High School. I have recently graduated from North Greenville University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education. This is my first year of teaching.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.Riverside High School Athletic Team Store

- View their student's information including demographics, attendance, classes, grades, lunch balances, and test scores
- Apply or register their student to Special Focus schools and programs (Fine Arts Center, Career Centers, etc.)
- Receive alerts and notifications regarding their students
- View their student's school and contact information
- Manage parent and contact information for their students
To create your parent backpack account follow the attached directions. Please note that parents only need to create a backpack account once. This is not an annual process.
