Friday Focus
Moreau Heights Elementary
May 5
Moreau Heights is a collaborative community focused on student growth with a commitment to excellence.
PBS lesson
*Are you using precorrects to support students before a "tricky" transition or activity?
*When giving a redirect, are you posing it as a statement of expectation. (ex: "We raise our hand to make a request/share a thought." "I will know you are ready when you are at a level zero.")
*Are you having a student practice expectations if needed?
*Are you providing positive, specific feedback about behavior and using Charger Cash to recognize those meeting expectations?
Thank you for making sure your data sheets on turned in on Friday. We are seeing more consistency in recent weeks!

Our end of the year assembly for grades k-2, and 3-4 are Monday, May 15th at regular times. We will do our "regular" awards for Noble Knight, Character awards, and the Charger Award, in addition to attendance. If there are special awards (reading, math, writing) for grade levels that you wish to award, please let me know. I imagine we will also have some awards from the library as well.
