Peeled
by Joan Bauer
Review
The author, Joan Bauer, executes how you can never underestimate someone by their age. I chose this book because I not only needed a Fanstasy book, but also because it looked like a great representation of how antagonists find loopholes and can mess with everybody's minds, but protagonists always find the right way to figure everything out. I like how Hildy never attempts lying as a way to be the most popular reporter in town. She instead keeps trying to solve the mystery of who is setting up the pranks that the "ghost" is making. I like how the apple was used as a symbol throughout the book when bad things happen, the production of apples went downhill, and at the end when all was good, the production of apples was a lot more successful.
