It is our sincere pleasure to highlight our seniors this year and honor their final year of memories here at Nest! Congratulations Seniors!

  • Senior girls wear "Black Dresses" (First Day of School)

As all of our students return tomorrow, I encourage all parents and students to review our Student Handbook. I have also shared a few reminders to assist our students with experiencing a successful first day of school.

Assessment News: What is MAP Testing? How is it used? (Now-September 6)

Our students will complete MAP Testing. MAP® (Measures of Academic Progress®)

Frequently Asked Questions

What is MAP? MAP assessments are computer adaptive achievement tests in Mathematics and Reading.

What are computer adaptive tests? The computer adjusts the difficulty of the questions so that each student takes a unique test. The difficulty of each question is based on how well the student has answered previous questions.

How is it used? MAP tests are based on a continuum of skills in Mathematics and Reading from low skill levels to high skill levels. MAP assessments help teachers identify the instructional level of the student and also provide context for determining where each student is performing in relation to local or state standards and national norms. MAP reports allow teachers to better target instruction based on students’ strengths and needs.

Athletic Event Policy

Athletic Event Policy @ Home: Roswell High School has incorporated a Clear Bag policy for all home games. Personal bags such as purses, backpacks, and shoulder bags will not be allowed into our sporting event. Only bags that are clear, where our gate workers and administrators can easily see the contents inside will be permitted at the gate. Exceptions include small clutches, diaper bags, and camera bags but all are subject to search if requested. If you show up at the gate with a bag that does not meet the requirements of the high school, you will be asked to return that item to your vehicle. Information about the clear bag policy is posted on our websites, sent out to the administration of opposing schools, as well as located on signs outside of the stadium and other areas. Thank you for helping us keep our campus safe!
