Karisma Kidz Update
Intel Global Challenge, Berkeley
Karisma Kidz won first prize in the category of Computing for Social Innovation at the Intel Global Challenge in Berkeley, CA, taking home a $15k prize. Over 20,000 technology startups applied for the challenge, and Karisma Kidz made it through 4 rounds of judging at European and Global levels to make the top 8 businesses overall. While prizes are always gratefully received, it's particularly rewarding to be recognised for our social impact and our potential to make the world a better place.
Smarta100 - Female Entrepreneur of the Year
Erika was named Female Entrepreneur of the Year at the Smarta100 awards in London on Thursday night, winning £1000 in prize money. Many thanks to all who voted and who have supported us and continue to do so.
